Watch The Throne
From: $35View DetailsThis is my interpretation of what I think Jay-z and Kanye’s album artwork should have looked like. I digitally painted to this in such a way as to make Jay-Z and Kanye seem like that are astronomical figures with black background and the white paint acting as stars and explosive matter around their images. I wanted to translate their status and role in the hip hop kingdom as the two kings, but still the throne is open for someone new. Hence the name “Watch The Throne.”

The Rebel: 2
From: $25View DetailsI believe James Dean was the embodiment of a “Rebel.” The way he lived his life was raw and candid. In every role he played he left you craving for more, because of how emotionally attached he made you to all his characters.
The artwork in this collection was inspired by Dean’s legendary “Torn Sweater” photo-shoot. I have always loved the way the lens seemed to capture him in such a raw, unabashed way. It’s one of the earliest glimpses into who this complex man would become. And I could not resist the urge to dedicate a series of pieces to the man who is forever remembered as the ultimate “Rebel.”
